Khal Mohammadi rugs are special. They are arguably some of the best made rugs being made in Afghanistan today. Named after the design icon Khal Mohammadi, an Ersari Turkmen who created this style of rug (both pattern and dying techniques), this particular rug is made by master weavers primarily in the area of Kunduz, Northern Afghanistan.
