This gem has prominent “gul” (octagon patterns) with reflection symmetry (top to bottom). This “gul” pattern has often been associated with the pattern of an elephant’s step - or an elephant pie! This rug demonstrates classic symmetry in the middle, with a delicate border, comprised of rich browns, greens, reds, and blacks - a bold and striking rug.
