This sumptuous and vibrant Kazak runner was hand knotted in northern Afghanistan by Hazara weavers using hand spun wool on upright looms. Built to last but also easy on the eyes.

The word, ‘Kazak’ means ‘rough-rider’ and describes a race of restless, roaming, troublesome people. Even though they adopted more sedentary lives, the independent spirit of their ancestors continues in their rug designs. We like to think that Kazak rugs embody our restless spirit, but keep us grounded at home.
