Afghan Kazak Rug

$650.00

Kazak Rugs (Kazakh, Kasak, Gazakh, Qazax) are typically made by nomadic Kurds, Georgins, Azerbaijanis, Lurs, and Armenians. Typically rich with geometric medaillions and embodying symmetry, we love Kazak rugs for their modern aesthetic yet incredibly rich history and tribal quality.

This gem is a handwoven Kazak from North East Afghanistan, where the Afghan weavers have adopted historic patterns from the Caucasus.

Origin: North East Afghanistan near Pakistan
